Rodolfo Orlando Guerra, age 55 of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2019. He was born on January 23, 1964 in Alice, Texas, the son of Rodolfo Hinojosa Guerra and Emma Anabelle Martinez Guerra, he is preceded by them in death. Rodolfo married Rosa Maria Gonzalez and they recently celebrated 30 years of marriage together.

Rodolfo would probably look at this picture and say, “You handsome devil, don’t you ever die.” He always had a smile on his face and could make a joke about everything. He was the most genuine person and was loved by everyone he met, he never had a bad thing to say about anyone.

Rodolfo and his wife raised a wonderful family with their two children and always worked hard to put his family first. They loved him so much and couldn't have asked for a better father or husband. He was the greatest father, he was patient and loving. He taught his children about many aspects of life and passed on his love of sports. Rodolfo loved watching sports with his family and friends, especially the Dallas Cowboys, and collecting sports memorabilia. He loved to be with his three cats Edward, Esme and Bella and they loved him as well. He loved learning about history and watching Ancient Aliens, playing golf and he always made time to travel with his family. He made his wife’s dreams come true by recently taking her to visit London and Paris for their 30th wedding anniversary. He fulfilled his own dreams when he purchased his Corvette Stingray in May. He worked at Bombardier as a quality inspector, he retired in January from Triumph Aerospace Structures after 34 years of service. Rodolfo was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Arlington.

Rodolfo leaves behind his wife Rosemary Guerra; his son Rodolfo Orlando Guerra II; his daughter Victoria Guerra; brother Erik Guerra and wife Elisa; sister Sonya Lozano and husband Rene; and many loving nieces, nephews, friends and family members of the Guerra, Martinez and Gonzalez Family.

He will be very missed by everyone who knew him.

3 weeks have gone by and that huge void Orly left in our hearts will always be there. Orly was such a wonderful example of a father a husband and a great friend. He left us all with some beautiful memories and some very amusing ones too. We continue to pray daily for our sweet and loving friends.

love always, Jeff, Aileen, Preston & Alec Ingraham

We enjoyed our time together family weekend, though it was a short time. We love your family. We are blessed to know you, and are heartbroken for you. Orly was a very nice, kind man and the world is a better place because he was here. He will be missed but part of him still lives through his beautiful children.

Rosemary, lando, and Victoria,
I am so sorry...you were all my son’s 2nd family. I know when orly gave advice to josh, he soaked up all he had to say. I am so blessed our boys became friends and remain best friends even today. I know josh took your death hard, orly. We all do. I remember sitting together in every baseball game and most softball games watching our guys play, Your 50 th birthday, Halloween parties and the bench! Lol. I will be praying for your family constantly and checking in w them often. Hugs.

To the Guerra Family.

No amount of words or memories that we can convey will make up for the loss you are incurring. We are including your family in our prayers. We ask our creator to hold your hand during these difficult times and to give you strength when you need it most. May you take the time to grief properly as well as celebrate the life and love that Rudy shared with each and every one of those that mattered the most to him. From my family to yours, we are here for you. God Bless.

This is such a tragic loss of life. I worked with Rudy for many years at Vought and as all of us know who worked there, we are like family because of the endless amount of time we spent there. He was truly a nice guy and will never be forgotten. God bless his family and comfort them in the days to come.

Love, Cindy Chance
