She graduated from U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City in 1958. She also attended the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. In 1988, she graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Law and attended Texas Wesleyan School of Law. She married Marvin Earl Jackson in Maryville, MO in December 24, 1992. Ruth retired as a paralegal with the Environmental Protection Agency in Dallas, TX. She was a member of St. Barnabas Methodist Church in Arlington, and American Legion Auxiliary in Bedford, Texas.
Survived by: husband, Marvin Earl Jackson of Arlington; daughters, Paula Pannell of Arlington, Pam Chandler of Gulf Shores, Alabama and Brenda Glasper of Gainesville, GA; son, Brett Bryant of Fort Worth; Nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
