Shane A. Madrid, age 44 of Arlington, passed away suddenly on April 14, 2018. He was born on January 16, 1974 in Dallas, the son of Billy and Connie Madrid. Shane is survived by his parents; brother Todd Madrid and wife Angela; partner Patrick Craven; nieces and nephews Mikaela, Jackson, and Cristiano. Shane was preceded in death by his grandparents, a brother Eric, and aunt Debbie Gomez.
Shane will be remembered by his family and friends for his soft heart and kind soul. Shane never met a stranger and truly believed that family could be anyone. Shane was an avid reader, swimmer, and gardener; putting his heart and soul into any of his projects and passions. Shane was also a recipient of a liver transplant on July 5, 2017, forever grateful for the donor. Family and friends will remember Shane for his unconditional love, his sense of humor, and his laughter.
Shane’s family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Thursday, April 19 at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, Arlington. A celebration of Shane’s life will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Shane’s honor to the Baylor, Scott, & White Transplant Services, Dallas.
