She was born Sharon Anne Harris on February 6, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas, a daughter of R.C. Harris and Irene Simpson Harris.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Raymond Martin; one son, Mitchell Martin; one daughter, Shannon Martin; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
