Sherry Church Peasner

January 8, 1953 – May 3, 2025

Sherry was born in San Antonio, Texas to parents Bob and Lucille Church on January 8th, 1953. She passed away at Medical City Hospital, Arlington Texas, on May 3rd, 2025.

Sherry is preceded in death by her parents and by her son Danny Peel. She is survived by her husband David Peasner, her sister Laura Garrett and husband Robert, her son Lance Mitchell and wife Rachel, her daughter Christine Zethraus and husband Jeff Lyons, her granddaughters Danielle Peel, Hunter Rodriguez, Sofia Perez, Clara Mitchell, Norah Mitchell, grandson Archer Mitchell, and six great granddaughters.

Sherry lived in San Antonio until the age of 12 when she and her family moved to Fort Worth Texas. She graduated from Western Hills High School, Fort Worth, in 1971. Her son Danny was born in 1972, her daughter Christine in 1977, and her son Lance in 1986.

In her younger years Sherry loved the sun and the beach. She made several trips down to the Texas coast just to spend time enjoying the beach and watching the waves.

Sherry worked for many years as a title clerk, helping people realize their dreams of home ownership.

She was a big fan of Texas Rangers baseball and Dallas Cowboys football.

She had a love for dogs, especially dachshunds. She and her

husband David loved and shared their home with several of them over the years.

Sherry will be missed by those who knew her and loved her.

A life remembered service for Sherry will be held Monday, May 19, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016.
