My husband was such a kind and giving person. We shared so much together over the past 34 years especially the love of our family and pets. He was so young to have been struck down with so many physical problems but I can give thanks to our Lord that He has given him a new body and will never again experience any kind of pain.  He is now with his precious son who he has grieved for immensely and for that I am happy. His heavenly family is now celebrating his forever healthy, happy and joyful life! I look forward to the day I will join them!

As time goes on it has not become easier to accept or realize that my precious son is no longer with us. I look at his friends and family and see all the love they have for him and they still comment on his Face book.  He touched so many people in the short years he was here and countless others through his organ donations. He was a kind, loving, giving person that loved his family, friends, pets and all that life had to offer. He was to be the 2011 Bat boy for the Rangers this year but was called home for God's team instead. I can just see him as he and his father walk the streets of gold listening to stories from the great "Babe" himself. I miss you Buddy but I know one day I will see you again as you greet me at the gate. Until then, I love you

My brother was not perfect, who is?  What my brother had was the sweetest smile, kindest demeanor, and most importantly, a heart of gold.  While his health had rapidly declined in the last few years, he loved baseball and nothing made him happier than living/talking about his son's baseball accomplishments.  He and I were bonded from early life experiences, and he was always my "little brother" that I wanted to take care of...well, now he is peacefully resting in the arms of the best care provider ever, God.  I will miss him every day that I live.

Stephen was a cool little brother. I was always so proud of him. I d always brag about him to everybody. Me him and mom would go to a christian concert called Celebrate Freedom every year but this year he will be celebrating freedom for real.I love you Stephen and you are so greatly loved and missed.

My father was a strong, loving man
 He only wanted the best for me and he was a great provider for his family. He was very funny and had a great sense of humor. He brightened many days and comforted me when I had no one. when I was 16 yrs old I had a boyfriend that broke my heart. It was late at night but my dad heard me crying uncontrolably and said get up we are going on a ride. We drove and talked for the longest time. I always felt better when dad was there to understand. He was so generous and cared for

Brenda & family, Jean & I are so saddened by Steve's passing. We are also shocked that it was so sudden. The last time we talked on the phone he indicated he was undergoing tests for cancer but did not reveal the seriousness of it.  We are praying for you and your family during this hardship on your family.  We just received the notification via email today,Wed.  We would have liked to be there for Steves funeral, but I am scheduled for knee surgery this Friday.  

Again we are thinking of you and share your sadness during this time. It is comforting to know that Steve was a believer and that he is in a better place with our Lord.

I taught Stephen at Martin as his English IV teacher. I cannot tell you how saddened I am by your loss. I will always remember Stephen for his kind, gentle nature. He made a huge impact on me. I remember one day in particular, another student was speaking to me as Stephen waited patiently and politely to tell me something about make-up work or a project or something. I really don't remember exactly what it was, I just recall thinking and making a mental note of what a polite and respectful young man he was. He was always humble about his athletic ability, kind and warm to everyone. His decency made him stand out. I will never forget this extraordinary and wonderful young man.

My heart and prayers are with you all.  I am very sorry for y'alls loss.  May God see you all through this hard time.

I was very blessed to be able to of meet Stephen.  The first thing I noticed about Stephen was his ability to light up the room.  The next thing I noticed and it will forever leave an imprint in my heart was his love for his nieces and nephews. Stephen has gone to be with his heavenly father but, the love that he gave will forever remain.  I am so sorry for your loss.

Steve & Brenda, We are without words to properly express our sympathy and sadness for your loss of Stephen Jr. At times like this we must all seek relief from the fact that we know Jr. knows the Lord and therefore will again be part of your family as you await your turns to join him in Heaven.  What a blessing it must have been for you and Brenda to experience his baptism and for you Steve to be baptised with your son. Friends can express sadness and try to understand what you are going thru right now, but I know we can't.  You must rely on Our King, The Living God of the universe to help you find meaning and to comfort you for this loss of a child. Jean & I have known you for many years and even  though we didn't get to visit your family very often, we could see the love you shared with Jr. Please call on us if there is anything we can do to comfort you as we share your great loss.

Not only was I impressed with how well behaved and well mannered Stephen was, but I was also impressed with how bright, intelligent & loving he was. His work here on earth has been completed and now he begins his heavenly work and he begins it free from pain. I look forward to when I can join him and we can have more talks like the last  one we had.

I watched you grow into such a wonderful young man, one who loved his family dearly. You were such a light in this world and I am sure heaven became that much brighter upon your arrival. My heart breaks for your family but I know that they will see you again because they have such an amazing strength and faith. May their hearts be filled with the memories of you until that time comes and may the pain lessen as that time passes.

It is so hard to say goodbye. He had such a great future ahead of him and i know how much he looked forward to playing pro ball.  He would have been one of the best i just know it. Although I didn't get to spend many years with my brother, I will always hold very dear the precious memories I had of him. He was so sweet and loving. I know that he has gone to a much better place and that he is the lucky one. One day we shall all be home and meet again. I love you Stephen and I miss you dearly.
