Steven Arthur Hunley

November 13,1946 - December 19, 2023

Steven Arthur Hunley, beloved husband of Dollie Dean Hunley for 54 years, passed away on December 19, 2023 at the age of 77 years old. He was born in Pasadena, California on November 13, 1946, the only son of Clay Jack and Edith Mae Hunley. He is survived by his wife, sister, and 2 nieces.

In 1964, he graduated from Andrew P. Hill High School, San Jose, CA. In 1974, he graduated with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.

From 1974-1985 he was a Electronics Design Engineer for National Semiconductor, Santa Clara, California. Responsible for designing and testing Digital Integrated Circuits in Bi-Polar technologies. In 1986-2005, he was a Senior Electronics Design Engineer for Texas Instruments, Dallas, Texas. Responsible for CMOS ASIC Design Support. At TI, he was awarded many patents and in 1995 elected to the TI Technical Staff.

Per Steve’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service or viewing. Also due to the Covid situation, there will be no memorial.

Steve will be missed dearly, by all his friends and family. They know this isn’t goodbye. It’s we’ll see you later.
