Vern Clair Gobeli

Vern C. Gobeli 77, of Grand Prairie, Texas died Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at home. Memorial service will be Friday, January 10, 2014 at 2:30PM at Moore Bowen Road Home, Arlington, Texas. Vern was born on July 12, 1936, in Hampton, Iowa to Forrest and Eva Marie Gobeli. He graduated from Rockford High School in the class on 1956. On September 16, 1960, he was united in marriage to Jan Pinz, together they would cherish 53 years of marriage with two children. Vern Retired form Schepp's Dairs, Dallas, Texas. Vern is survived by his wife, Jan Gobeli, sons, Randy Gobeli, Tracey (Julie) Gobeli. Grandchildren Brittany (Hunter) Steel, Chelsey Gobeli, Abbie Gobeli,Catherine Gobeli. Great granddaughter Kayleigh Hunter, plus many nieces, nephews, and extended family in Colorado and Iowa. He is preceded in death by his parents: granddaughter, Anna Noel Gobeli; 3 brothers Dale, Dean, and Harlan; sister-in-law, Wilma Gobeli; brother's-in-law Bob Pinz and Larry Green.
