

ARLINGTON -- Virginia Kay Morrow passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016. Funeral: Friends are cordially invited to join the family at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 13, at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Chapel. Burial: 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, in DFW National Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Chapel.
Virginia was born to Bruce and Dora Patton on Oct. 26, 1925, in Bay City. In 1945 Virginia graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a bachelor's degree, majoring in English. On July 23, 1947, she married Paul Glenn Morrow Sr. who preceded her in death in 2010. Virginia was a teacher and writer and loved playing the piano and singing. Virginia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and most of all accepted Jesus at an early age.
Those preceding her in death are her parents; husband; and sister, Jeanne Hawkes.
Survivors: Children, Glenn Morrow and wife, Theda, Jeffrey Patton Morrow, Craig Alan Morrow and Joseph Richard Morrow and wife, Debbie, Jeanne Morrow Zedan and husband, Rick; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
