

Waldene Price was born on August 3, 1958, in Stamford, Texas, to Walter Lee Price and Johnnie Mae Price. She was the third of eight children and was blessed with a life filled with faith, family, friendship, laughter, and love.
At an early age, Waldene accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and carried her faith with her throughout her life. Her trust in God helped guide her through life's joys and challenges, and she remained a source of strength and encouragement to those around her.
On June 6, 2026, Waldene peacefully entered eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for her family.
Waldene was a devoted caregiver, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, mother-in-law, and cherished friend. She dedicated much of her life to caring for others and was known for her nurturing spirit and generous heart. Whether offering words of encouragement, lending a helping hand, or simply being present, she touched countless lives with her warmth and selflessness.
She had a wonderful sense of humor and was known for being quick-witted, playful, and full of life. Her laughter was contagious, and she could brighten any room with her joyful personality. Family gatherings were always made more special by her presence, stories, and jokes.
Waldene was preceded in death by her beloved father, Walter Lee Price; her mother, Johnnie Mae Price; and her sisters, La Nora A. Price and Mary Louise Price.
She leaves to cherish her memory her five children: Larry Porter, Louis Robinson, Michael Robinson, Andre Robinson, and Tonya Robinson. She was the proud grandmother of 21 grandchildren and the beloved great-grandmother of 2 great-grandchildren, with one additional great-grandchild expected soon.
She also leaves behind a host of siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure the love and memories she shared with them.
Waldene will be remembered as a supportive and loving woman whose greatest joy was her family. Her Kindness, wisdom, strength, and faith left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though her physical presence is no longer with us, her love, faith, and beautiful spirit will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
