Henry “Hank” was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on August 17, 1955 to parents, Henry Edward and Josephine Lloyd Hufham. Henry was raised in Cary, North Carolina and graduated from the University of North Carolina on a ROTC scholarship. After graduation, Henry was commissioned into the United States Navy as an Ensign. He served 20 years, rising in rank until he retired as a Commander in 1997. Later, he worked several careers until his final retirement in 2017. Henry was an avid genealogist and authored a book on the Hufham family.
Henry leaves behind his wife of almost 40 years, Karen Stewart Hufham; his daughter, Lauren Hufham; his son, Matthew (Chelsea); three grandchildren, London, Rome and Easton Hufham; brother, Gary Hufham (Patti Gunning); and sister, Denise Russos (Gus).
