Wilma Jean Box, age 88 of Arlington, passed away on December 31, 2022. She was born on October 15, 1934 in Taylor County, Texas, the 9th of 10 children of Earl Martin Miller and Lee Ora Heller Miller. Wilma married Sammy Box and they celebrated 64 years of marriage together before his passing in 2014.
Wilma will be remembered as a strong willed and dedicated woman with a warm heart. She was a devoted wife and mother and a true friend to many. Wilma was a beautiful and creative artist who loved to paint. She and her husband attended Brentwood Hills Primitive Baptist Church and she enjoyed singing with the congregation.
Wilma is survived by her children Pam Lowrance and husband Tim and Rick Box; seven grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son Kim Box, a grandson, three brothers, and six sisters.
