Carol was my brother Kevins sister-in-law. I’ve known her ever since she was a teenager. She was a beautiful kind gentle person. I know she will be missed by her family. And by the McGovern family. Rest in peace you sweet girl.

Sweet beautiful Carol, you will always be my sister and always in my heart. You were my darling brother’s first love and the mother of my precious nephew. We had so many good times and laughs together. Time has gone way to quickly but the memories will remain until I join you and Mike in Heaven. Love you always sweet beautiful sister.

I am so sorry to hear of Carol’s death. It is impossible to not remember her for her smile (or sometimes a smirk, because she knew that we were up to something) and warm and welcoming personality. Whether she was at a gathering with family or I bumped into her at church or elsewhere, she greeted me with a huge smile and always wanted to know how I and my family were doing. May she rest in peace and may her family be comforted in their time of sorrow.

God bless, Jake Cooley

She was always a sweet girl when she visited with us-uncle Paul and Aunt Bessie and Grandpap Holmberg in Coupon. Also fun to play with at family reunions at Uncle Tommys

I will always have such fond memories of working with Carol and seeing her at various Kohlhaas functions. She was always so quick to laugh and was a joy to be around. May you Rest In Peace. I will be praying for you and your whole family!

Carol was very welcoming and I always appreciated how she and her family welcomed me at their house, even though she often scolded Kevin for "kidnapping" me. Also it was a lot of fun having her as a co-worker. Rest in peace Carol, you and your family are in our prayers.

I have far too many great memories of my Aunt Carol to share them all here. From my first concert (Billy Joel), to all the time I spent in the summers at her house as a kid, and the good natured arguments over politics (she eventually saw the light), Carol was such a huge part of my life. She was a gentle and kind soul with an enormous capacity for love and laughter. Fun fact: she really loved owls.

One of my biggest regrets is that my children did not get to know you the way I did, but they still love you and miss you greatly. Our family will not be the same without you.

We all take great comfort knowing that you received the Apostolic Blessing and have confidence in Our Lord's plan for you!

We love and miss you and will always remember you in our prayers..."I'm serious!" (Carol Ann Kent)

I love you, Carol, and I miss you. You'll be in my heart forever.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Your loving sister,

Aunt Carol, we will miss your affection and your sense of humor so much. I’m so sorry to see you go so soon, but I know you are at peace with Our Lord and Grandma and Pap-pap and Kurt and Danny! We will miss here though ❤️❤️
