Born on April 28, 1958, Cindy grew up in Arlington, where she spent nearly her entire life in her cherished childhood home. Known for her kind heart, warm smile, and deep love for her family, Cindy dedicated her life to caring for others. She worked at the U.S. State Department and later found joy in her roles as a child care provider and homemaker.
Cindy had a deep love for the beach—especially Rehoboth, Delaware—which was her place of peace and renewal. She also loved to travel, laugh, and spend time with those closest to her. Family and friends were the heart of her world, and she made everyone feel welcome and loved.
She is survived by her loving husband, Brian Preloh; her children, John Preloh and Victoria Poff; and her grandchildren, Hunter Preloh, Adalynn Poff, and Abel Poff. She will be remembered always as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 18th at 11:00 AM at Murphy’s Funeral Home in Falls Church, Virginia. All who knew and loved Cindy are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love she shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
