David Vincent Galaviz

David Vincent Galaviz passed away in Arlington, Virginia on July 15, 2022 He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on December 3rd, 1957. He grew up in San Diego, later moved to Los Angeles, and made his way to Virginia.

David worked many jobs throughout his life. Some were with his father running a factory that made Disney Nite Lites and another factory making pottery. In the 80's David was a co-owner of a nightclub in Oceanside, CA.

For the past 29 years, he worked at THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. David loved to ride his bike around DC and was a huge Oakland/LA/Vegas Raiders fan!

David is survived by his 2 sons David Jr and Jonathan Shomo and granddaughter Geniva, his parents, Fernando Javier Galaviz and Barbara Jean Shields Galaviz, and siblings Linda, Adam, Karla, Matthew, and Daniel and Jonathan. Nephews and nieces, Chris, Russell, Kevin, Nicholas, Cameron, Melissa, Donny, Jordan Lee, Sarah, Zachary, Ava, Emily, Scarlett, Danny, Leyla, and Parx. David's closest friends Larry and Luis eventually became brothers and family.

Geniva, David loved you more than anything in this world.
