She is survived by her daughter, Terri Candela (Bob DiStefano). Donna was blessed with four grandchildren, Jennifer (Joe) Malinowski, Michelle (Oscar) Krstulovic, Stephen (Sancia) Winslow and Andrew (Sarah) Winslow as well as ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William “Billy” Bierlein. Her sons, Stephen and Craig Bierlein and a great grandchild.
A funeral mass will be offered on Saturday, June 14, at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Agnes Catholic Church, 1914 N. Randolph St., Arlington, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna’s name may be made to Inova Health Foundation designated for the transplant center. Burial will be private.
