Edward Watkins (82) was born April 2, 1933. He passed away on September 21, 2015 in Alexandria, Va. Ed fought a battle with Parkinson’s Disease for 15 years. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Kay Watkins, their daughter Jennifer and granddaughter
Valerie and four children Scott and Robert Watkins, Karen Husar, Susan Kann and 8 grandchildren from his former marriage to Delores Watkins. He is also survived by his sisters Mary "Sis" Mason, Carolyn Concklin and his brother-in-law Emory Mason and two nephews. Visitation hours will be Monday September 28, from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd. Arlington, VA 22203. The Funeral Mass will be at 10am on Tuesday, September 29, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Alexandria, VA. Interment will follow at Columbia Gardens Cemetery.
