On Thursday 25 July 2013 Libby Harvey passed away at her home after a long illness. She was born 13 March 1928 in Spotsylvania, Virginia. She had resided in Sterling, Virginia for over 35 years but has been a resident of Northern Virginia for over 70 years. She was a 1948 graduate of W&L High School in Arlington. She was preceded in death in 2012 by her husband of 64 years Nelson Harvey. Libby and Nelson raised three sons, Bob of Sterling, Jack of Falls Church and Mike (Valerie) of Bridgewater, Virginia; and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister Joyce Kennon. Arrangements are being made by Murphy Funeral Home and Columbia Gardens Cemetery. There will be a viewing at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd. Arlington on Sunday 28 July from 6-8 PM and a graveside service at 11:00 AM Monday 29 July at Columbia Gardens, 3411 Arlington Blvd. Arlington.
