Frank Malcolm Jr.

Frank Malcolm Jr.,was born in the then named Arlington Hospital on August 16, 1951. He died in the same Virginia Hospital Center on May 12, 2025, after a short illness. He is survived by his domestic partner of 47 years, Celeste Clark.

He was the only son of Wilda P. and Francis E. Malcolm and younger than his sisters Joan and Ann Malcolm. For a time after his father's stroke, he ran the family business, the Brookville Swim Club in Alexandria, VA.

He graduated from Francis C. Hammond High School in 1969 and from VPI in 1973. He followed his father into a real estate career, volunteer as a rescue squad EMT, and then worked briefly in an emergency room and as a phlebotomist.

He lived his life to its fullest and on his own terms to the very end.

Frank will be buried at Pohick Cemetery in Lorton, VA, on Saturday, June 14, noon. A viewing will precede the burial Friday, June 13 5PM - 8PM, at Murphy Funeral Home in Arlington, VA. Anyone with fond memories, stories, or keepsakes of moments shared in his life is welcome to attend and share.
