I was searching the internet to obtain Frank and Mary's contact information and I was shocked to hear of the loss of a wonderful friend and mentor.  I worked and knew Frank from my work at the Department of State working with the Information Management Bureau.  He was a very kind individual who could lead you in a direction of new discovery.  He mentored me in a success career with the department.  His friendship will always be cherished.  Mary, Margaret and I send our condolences.    Always,  Dick and Margaret Peppe

If I could select one phrase to describe Frank, it would be "Compassionate Service To Others".  He was the spouse of my cousin, Mary Virginia Kirchner Sass, and he was devoted to her, to their children Nancy and Martin, and to his entire family.  May his memory be  a blessing.

Frank and Mary were wonderful caring neighbors of my Mother's and we became friends as a result.   Frank was ever kind, diligent and thoughtful and was a devoted husband and Father.    His kindness to my Mother,  and then to me,  was constant.  A true gentleman, a great and caring citizen of the world.   He was one in a million and will be greatly missed. Frank and I worked together for quite  few years--while he was in the Information Resource Bureau and then when I had the benefit of working with him at the Foreign Service Institute.  I learned much from his sage advice and wisdom.   I spoke to him a few weeks back, once again gaining knowledge and insights.   He will remain in my heart as a true colleague, wise friend and great father and husband.
