

Georgia Muriel Taylor passed away Tues., Dec. 10 after a brief illness at the family home in Arlington. She would have been 92 on Dec. 29. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray J. Taylor (1918-1977). Mrs. Taylor was a native of Western Pennsylvania. Mrs. Taylor was employed by the National Grange for nearly 30 years as its sales director and assistant accountant. She retired at the age of 85 in 2006. She enjoyed gardening, baking and providing friends and family with her special Grandma's fudge at Christmas. She also loved sports and was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins and Pittsburgh Steelers. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughters Judy (Rich) Massabny, Arl., Terri L. Taylor, Falls Church and son Jeff (Becky), Glenwood, MD; six grandchildren, Rachel, Casey, Billy, Kirby, Maddy and Cooper. A Memorial Service will be held Sun., Dec. 15 at Murphy's Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington. Visitation will be held 12 p.m.-12:30 p.m., followed by a service at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Welfare League of Arlington, 2650 S.
