One thing I hope I will never forget is the sound of her first greeting voice saying brightly
“Well Hello There!” And I believe this is what she said the day she met Jesus!
My daughters have fond memories of their visits w her In Fernandina Beach playing with sweet Dolly, ( great Gma Helen’s cat and riding in/driving her Golf cart).
One of my most precious memories of her was when my 1 yr old daughter and I stayed with her in her Home in Arlington, while my dad was having Surgery in a nearby hospital. She was so welcoming and always accepted us as if we were her own family. She easily calmed my fears and nervousness, about my dad and traveling alone w my toddler, all while feeding and helping me care for Lanie. She made her infamous “Nood O’ La” which my daughter loved and happily wore all over her face and Body. Now I understand her recommendation that she just be in her diaper for her dinner in an antique wooden high chair.
Of course I later heard that she had made this not only for us, but for her own children, her own grandchildren and her great grandchildren as well! And had seated them in the very same high chair! I’m in tears as I’m writing this because she was just so special in so many ways that words cannot fully describe.
She will be greatly missed. Sending healing, loving, peaceful and comforting prayers and condolences to all of her friends and family in Jesus name.

Brenda, I am so sorry for your momma's passing. I remember one time, while I was working at the Shoppes, your mom & Niva were both in the store looking around. They were just so cute together, laughing and sharing thoughts.
Your momma was the sweetest lady and was kind to everyone. God bless Ms Helen & may she be at peace, God bless you as you travel, and during the next several weeks.
Love & peace,

Mary Ann Cox

This sweet lady will be greatly missed! When Brenda and I traveled to stay with her when she still lived in Virginia she was a most gracious hostess! She had recently adopted her cat, Dolly and they were quite a pair! I will always remember her with a smile on her face and always thinking and interested in others more than herself. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, Brenda, and all your family!
