Helen Brady Lane died peacefully on Wednesday, 24 April 2023 at Goodwin House Bailey's Crossroads in Falls Church, Virginia. Helen was born in Portland, Oregon on 12 April 1935 to George Dewey Brady and Flora (Grimm) Brady. She was a retired U.S. Foreign Service Officer. She married fellow FSO: Larry E Lane in Texas in 1959. Helen and Larry lived and served in Bolivia, Germany, Mexico, Chile, Guatemala, Dominican Republic and Spain. Helen is survived by her sons, Andrew (and wife Edith) Lane and Joel Lane both of Arlington and her daughters Amy Lane of Hedgesville, West Virginia and Julia (husband Michael) Brown of Naples, Florida. She is also survived by her grandchildren Meredith, Margaret, Adam, and Zachary.
A Memorial will be held at 2pm, Monday, May 13th at Goodwin House Bailey's Crossroads. Burial will be at in Wood Cemetery, Bronson, Sabine, Texas at a later date.
