Brady Family,
While I never had the honor to meet Henry, I do have a bond with his home state, Clemson and his military service. I am from Barnwell, graduated from Clemson in 1967 and retired from the US Army (Aviation) in 1989. There is an old saying "A Clemson Man Needs No Introduction" and from Henry's life and legacy that statement epitomizes him throughout his 100 year life. In April 2017, I returned to Clemson for my 50th year reunion. While many things had changed over the last 50 years, during my time at Clemson was much like the time Henry was there to wit: barracks to live in, mess hall to eat in, wearing the uniform and drilling on a weekly basis, and most of all students who knew how to live within their means, value an education and most of all were given to a cause larger than themselves of Duty-Honor-Country.  May God bless the life and legacy of a great man, a Clemson Tiger and a highly decorated military officer. I will say a prayer for Henry during his internment on September 6, 2018 in Arlington National Cemetery.
