I met Jim in January, 1966 on  a little resort island off the South Carolina coast.  Jim and I and a couple of more formed a bond that lasted from PI, thru ITR, then Artillery School, Staging and finally till we reached Vietnam.  We were split up then and I saw Jim once more when we happened to bump into each other in Danang.  I contacted him one time 20 years or so ago, and he had found some pictures and was going to send them to me but I never received them.  Jim makes two of our group that I  know of that are gone.  He was a good Marine and had that tattoo on his wrist.  I'll look you up on the other side buddy.
