On Saturday, November 19, 2011 of Fairfax, VA, James H. Landis, Jr., a native Washingtonian. Mr. Landis proudly attended the first football game played by the Washington Redskins and has held season tickets from the early 1960s to the time of his death. Predeceased by his wife, Iris E. Landis; his daughter, Sarah Anne McAuliffe and his sister, Shirley Thompson who passed November 21, 2011. He is survived by his son, James Landis and his wife, Alicia; son-in-law, Buddy McAuliffe; grandson, Brian McAuliffe; granddaughter, Meagan Landis and her husband, Joe Schultz and great-grandson, Lennon Schultz. Private inurnment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
