Joan Randell Wise passed into the presence of the Lord on December 22, 2012 after a short illness. Born on September 14, 1937, she was life-long resident of Arlington, VA, and worked for the Arlington County Police Department for over 30 years. She is survived by her sister, Eleanor Doerr, three sons, Kenneth Randell, Kevin Randell, and Keith Randell, and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA. A memorial service in celebration of her life will follow at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Church at Clarendon, 1210 North Highland Street, Arlington, VA 22201.
