To my Uncle Jose' ......... I will miss you and Dorothy. You were a special couple in my life. You would always joke around with me and tell stories that were funny. I enjoyed the time you took us to the Washington Post Newspaper, and showed us what you did at work. It was very interesting. It was a sad day when you lost Dorothy and she went to be with Jesus. You can now be with her and your family once again. May God be with you!

Dot and Jose were our (Gene's) very first friends we made with when we moved up here from Florida and always remained close friends with those dear people till their passing away. They were our children's "grandparents."

For the past three days my mind's eye has been remembering you.  Remembering all your funny stories and the wild and cazy things you and Orval did when you were kids..I remember the stories that Mother told us about your athletic ability, your zest for life, and how Daddy had to rescue you from so much enthusiasim.  My mind's eye also remember's your later years, when you nursed and cared for your wife, Dorothy.  That must of been hard, but you did it.  I know these last years must have been lonely ones for you since most of your friends are gone or unable to travel.  Rest in peace, Jose, I remember.  You and your sister, Lydia, are now in the arms 
of God.
