“Kenny”
Of Springfield, VA Kenneth Edward Harrison departed peacefully to heaven on November 10, 2013 at the age of 83. Born on November 8, 1930 to Lawrence B. and Daisy B. (Smith) Harrison at their home in Arlington, Va. Preceded by his siblings; Cordelia ( Deedee), Benjamin (Benny), James Wallace ( Wally), Barbara (Bobby). Survived by his Nephews and Nieces; Edward, Larry, Ben , Bob, Jimmy, Nita, Linda, Judy, Laurie. Though Kenny never married nor had children, his numerous nieces, nephews and younger cousins were just as close as any child could be. All who knew our Uncle Kenny Knew him as a blessing in their life. When Jesus spoke the story of “Good Samaritan” he also was speaking of our uncle Kenny who knew no stranger. Uncle Kenny was the calm of any storm that would come into our lives. A man of true character who will forever be remembered and loved by many friends, relatives, and numerous past employees. Funeral services will be held at Murphy Funeral Home at 4510 Wilson Blvd. Arlington, VA 22203 Saturday November 16, 2013 with Interment to follow at Columbia Gardens Cemetery.
