Kevin Curran Foley died quietly at home in Arlington, Virginia, on June 1, 2024. He as 71. He is survived by his wife, Candice; his brother, William R. Foley; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Very Rev. K. George Johnson and Faith D. Johnson; nephew Benjamin Johnson and his wife Kate; niece Marina Johnson and her husband Rob Bergenstock; cousins Barbara Clancy and Brian Clancy, and other family members and loving friends. Kevin was born on February 1, 1953 in Alexandria, Virginia. He was the son of the late William and Aileen Curran Foley. A 1976 graduate of The Ohio State University, Kevin played varsity lacrosse. He was a multiple letter winner for four years and made valued friendships that lasted throughout his life. Kevin as an industrial hygienist for most of his professional career. He worked for labor unions in Washington D.C. and New York, and for private corporations in the Washington D.C. area, traveling nationwide to help resolve health and safety hazards at industrial and military locations. He retired in 2017. Kevin and Candice married in October 1999. They shared a love of travel, science museums, sports, adventures and toons. Kevin was smart, funny and kind. Services will be held at Rhome Funeral Home in Monessen, Pennsylvania, with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. May his memory be eternal.
