Lois J. Thomas, age 83, of Arlington, passed away February 9, 2014. She was born January 24, 1931, to R.B and Olga Johnston in Welch, West Virginia, and grew up in Princeton, West Virginia. Lois is survived by four sons; Harry, Richard (Amy), William (Veronique), and Johnathan; and eight grandchildren; John, David, Andrew, Amandine, Nathalie, Capri, Clark, and Nolan. Lois was the former assistant to the Chairman of the County Board in Arlington, and also was the shop owner of Granny’s Attic in Arlington. She lived in her Arlington home for 55 years. The family will receive visitors at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral and burial services private.
