Margaret was born in Washington, D.C. on October 16, 1939, the daughter of Joseph Brown Pearson and Helen Minnie Dusenberry. She was a graduate of West Virginia University. After years as an elementary school teacher, Margaret went on to a fulfilling career with the federal government.
She enjoyed traveling abroad and was an avid watercolorist. Her paintings were featured in exhibitions around the country, and she was active in numerous watercolor societies. Margaret’s artistic contributions earned her a place in Marquis Who's Who.
She is survived by her son Tyler Brown, her daughter-in-law Bettina Neudert-Brown, and her grandson Oskar Brown.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on September 25, 2025, at Columbia Gardens Cemetery, 3411 Arlington Blvd, Arlington, Virginia 22201.
