Rested in eternal peace on Dec. 16, 2015 in a nursing home in Falls Church, VA. Marguerite, 93, was a retired government employee, community activist and of the Secular Franciscan Order in Arlington, VA. Born in Washington, DC, to Mary Dyson Brown and Julius C. Brown. Married to the late Joseph Lee Thomas and mother of the late James E. Thomas. Survived by four other children Keith, Stephanie, Michael and Cecilia Thomas (Braveboy) with husband Wilfred Braveboy and children Gena and David. She also leaves Michael’s son Marcus, and James’ wife Karen Aungst Thomas and their children in NY, as well as many nieces and nephews in the Washington, D.C. area. Visitation is 10:00 a.m. on Dec. 21, before the Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 2700 So. 19th St., Arlington, VA 22204.
