I knew Marie long ago in the 1960’s when I was a teenager. She was my brother’s friend and I had the pleasure of sharing many hours of time with the two of them. Marie was a darling person who always had time to talk with me and treated me with great kindness and made me feel valued as a young adult. She spent many hours helping me learn to drive when I was about to get my permit and even gave me much needed dance lessons as I clumsily went off to my first school social event. How fortunate I was to have had her friendship at this very awkward and challenging time in my life. 

I kept in touch with her for many years as I grew into adulthood but sadly lost contact with her in the 1970’s. Not sure what happened but we both moved away from Trenton and with time I just lost track of her. 

40 years later I moved back to the Trenton area and tried to locate her through the internet. I was deeply saddened to find she had passed away in 2015, just a short time after my return here. How much I would have loved to have seen her again and spent time sharing all that had happened in both of our lives over those many years. Maya Angelou said “People may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel”. This is exactly how it was with Marie; I don’t recall a single word of our many conversations over the years we were in touch but the warmth, kindness and caring she made me feel over that time are among my life’s most treasured gifts. Thank you Marie for being such a special person to me. The world and my life were deeply enriched because you were a part of it. You are deeply missed. 

My love and prayers go to Marie's family and friends. She was such a wonderful , fun person and my friend. We had some great times. Happy Birthday my love. I'll think of you always. Say Hi to Stanley and maybe you guys will win another Jitterbug Contest! Love you bunches...RIP

I have fond memories of all the laughs and good times we shared while working with her at Feldesman Tucker.  She was truly someone that will not easily be forgotten! She will always be one of the DR Divas. Spread your wings - you've earned them.

I was in total shock when I read this information about Marie on Facebook!!!  I worked with Marie at Feldesman Tucker for over 10 years and we became good friends.  Even when she went to work for Ain & Bank we would still meet at the MadHatter for lunch!!! I pray and ask GOD to give you all the peace that is needed during this time!!!  I will truly miss you CLARK!!!
