Marie Wolf Sims

Marie Wolf Sims of Arlington VA passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013 at the age of 81. She was born in Bismarck ND. She was a wife and mother and worked for many years as a hairdresser in the community. She is survived by her husband Benjamin L. Sims III, her son Ben Sims and his wife Teresa and her daughter Barbara Sims and two granddaughters Sara and Lauren Sims. She is also survived by sisters Bernette Rempfer (Fargo, ND), Kathy Prothe (Greeley, CO), Barbara Ireland (LaMoure ND), Alice Rypkema (Lincoln, NE) and a brother Ray Wolf (Zeeland ND) and is preceded in death by her sister Unna Ulich.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 4 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington 22203. The service will be held on Thursday September 5, 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 103 North Spring St., Falls Church, VA 22046. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery to be scheduled. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Haliquist Memorial Inpatient Center, Arlington VA.
