Karnen, I send you and your family my deepest sympathies. I hope you have preace in knowing your Mom will not be in pain any longer. From what I read she must have suffered with cancer. That is really hard on you going thru that with her. I've read some beautiful stories here and on facebook. She must have been a wonderful lady/person & Mom. Keep your memories and know she is in a better place.
Love you,

I knew Nancy from political activism. She was one of my first friends when I moved to the DC area and always loved talking to her on any topic. She was a fun person and will be badly missed.

Oh I am sorely missed you. I have been thinking about you everyday and tried to visit you but too late. I remembered you were a very strong woman. You treated me right about the Post Office job. You used to be my LSM supervisor in 1980's. That was long time ago. Alice, you may rest in peace and may the family and friends feel comfort from her fellow military friends. The last time I hugged you when you were a contract employee at USPS. Alice, I alway love you and wish to hug you again.

Nancy was a very strong woman. I know where her daughter, dear friend Rebecca, gets it from. I remember Nancy and Rebecca since they lived down the street in Houston. I am honored to still know Rebecca and her family. May Nancy rest in peace, and may the family and friends feel comfort from their fellow friends during this hard time.

Rebecca, I went to church camp with your mom when we were in middle school and we remained friends throughout high school. We were suite mates in college and we stayed in touch until we moved away from Houston the the late 1980s. We had lots of fun together and I've wondered whatever happened to her and where she was.
My sincere sympathy to your and your family in your loss.

I will miss my dear cousin Nancy. She was a creative, adventurous and gutsy woman who loved beautiful things, politics, trying to "right" injustices, poker and her family. She was an awesome and interesting lady and a great friend. God bless Rececca and her family as they grieve their loss. I wish I had one more day with Nancy.
