Patricia Renee Ellis, 65, of Arlington, Virginia, passed away on January 05, 2020. She was born to parents Lois Mae Barnes and Eugene Francis Barnes, on March 1, 1954 in Arlington, Virginia. As a lifelong resident of Westover in Arlington, Virginia, Renee graduated from Yorktown High School in 1972. She was a former member of Westover Baptist Church and thoroughly enjoyed playing softball throughout the years. She gave up working outside the home to happily spend her days with her children, although found time to occasionally assist in caring for elderly in the area. She became a doting grandmother and found much joy in visits from her four granddaughters and two grandsons. Renee's laugh was one of a kind and her humor will easily be remembered. Renee met William Kevin Ellis in 1985. The love of her life, they were married on February 14, 1994 in Arlington, Virginia. Patricia is survived by her husband of 25 years, William Kevin Ellis; three children, Christin Phelps and husband, Scott of Lawton, Oklahoma, Carrie Boo and husband, SoHyun of Morgantown, West Virginia, and Kim Del Monte Jr. of Front Royal, Virginia. She was also a doting grandma (MeMaw) to Alyssa, Alexis, Madison, Brylan, Braxten and Chloe, as well as a great grandmother to Stella & Brenn. She is also survived by her father Eugene Barnes, her brothers; Bobby, Bruce and Michael Barnes along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Lois Mae Barnes, Mother, Billy Barnes, brother and Gary Francis, son. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
