Philip Dale Bacher "Flip" passed away on January 29th in Arlington Va. after a brief illness. Philip was the son of Dorothy Mae And Clayton Dahl Bacher. He was born on April 17, 1930 in Davenport, Iowa. He retired after 45 years from Giant Food. His real passion was as a drummer and singer. Flip played with many top country acts including Roy Clark, Jimmy Dean and Dub Howington. Flip was a die hard Redskins fan to the very end. He leaves behind his brother Donald. He is preceded in death by his brother Clayton, his first wife Dorothy Faye and leaves behind their children Michael Dale Bacher, Sharon Lee Wilson and Patricia Joann Davis in addition to eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He is also predecesed by his second wife ,Mary Bacher and leaves behind their daughter, Christina Rose Bacher.
