Ronald Mordini was called to be with the Lord on January 23rd in Arlington, Virginia where he has resided with his wife Kathleen for 32 joyful years. He was a proud father to his children Rebecca, Ronald Jr., and David and to his grandson Casey Mordini-Bluhm. He was brother to Virginia Lemme who passed away in 2019 and son to Eleanor and Anthony Mordini.
Ronald was born in Highland Park, Illinois in 1937. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1959. He was known for his sense of humor and sensitivity to others, and was gifted with technical skills. He retired from the U.S. Department of Energy in 2001. After retirement, he was the IT advisor for Culpepper Gardens, an affordable housing community for seniors.
Funeral services will be held 11 am on Tuesday, February 1st, at St. George's Episcopal Church, 915 N. Oakland St. at the intersection of Fairfax Drive. Inurnment at Columbia Gardens Cemetery located 3411 Arlington Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron's honor to St. George's Episcopal Church or your favorite charity.
