Rosenie Laude Alim

Rosenie or fondly known as “Neng” was born on February 28th, 1957 to Ruperto and Gloria Laude in Inalig, Philippines. She went on to study Nursing at Emilio Aguinaldo College and graduated in 1982.

She began her Nursing career in Manila, Philippines. She often had work in Saudi Arabia and Guam before migrating to the United States. After working in different hospitals in the DMV, she retired as a Transplant Coordinator at INOVA Fairfax Hospital and finished her 41 year career.

In college, Rosenie met Domingo and married in 1982. They went on to have 3 sons named Sandross, Sanderson, and Jess Pert. Rosenie was a faithful and active member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). She was a choir member for many years before becoming a deaconess so she can perform with her husband.

Rosenie was predeceased by her parents Ruperto & Gloria Laude. She is survived by her husband, Domingo and their three sons and two daughter-in-laws, and grandchildren: Sandross (Heather), Aurora Gloria, Cassian Kenobi; Sanderson (Patricia), Aerys Luna; and Jess Pert.

Rosenie is also survived by her 9 siblings with their respective families: Ricardo & Norma Laude, Renida Ragudo, Teresita & Bhoy Escalante, Romeo & Marlet Laude, Thelma Valdez, Merlyn & Mario Petoral, Maria Clemen & Vanessa Laude, Maria Glory & Gerry Camara, and Maria Gloriosa & Jay Espiritu.

Visitations will be held at Murphy Funeral Homes on April 22nd between 5:30-8:30 PM & April 23rd between 5-8 PM. The final viewing will be on April 24th between 10-11 AM at Murphy Funeral Homes before processing to Columbia Gardens Cemetery for interment.
