She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wong.
Ruth leaves behind her children; Tony (Dena) Wong, Lisa Gill and Melinda (Tak) Lee; her sister, Helen Lee; her grandchildren, Benjamin, Christopher, Alexander and Taylor and many other family and friends.
A visitation will be held for Ruth on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 6-8pm at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10am also at Murphy Funeral Home, followed by interment at Washington National Cemetery, Suitland MD.
Ruth’s family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
