

Timothy Francis Stock passed away on 6th February, 2022. Timothy was born, raised, and educated in Detroit, Michigan. Upon graduation from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, Timothy joined the Office of General Counsel at Ford Motor Company's World Headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan in 1962.
He was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1963. Over seven years with the Office of General Counsel, his duties involved all aspects of Ford's North American business. Subsequently, he was transferred to Ford's European Headquarters in the UK, where he was responsible for operations in Eastern and Western Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. After a decade in the UK, he returned to Michigan to join Ford's International Counsel Office and assumed responsibilities for legal aspects of Ford's activities in Latin America, as well as the Asia Pacific region.
After his retirement, and following two years of international volunteer service (International Executive Service Corps in Yekaterinburg, Russia; American Bar Association/CEELI in Ukraine) he and his wife, Lecia, moved to Arlington, Virginia. There, Timothy remained professionally active. He worked as a civil and family mediator, and as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate for Abused and Neglected Children (CASA).
His will be mourned deeply by his wife of 60 years, Lecia Wasilia, his daughter, Marie Florence (husband Robert M. Brown, Jr.), son, Timothy Joseph (wife Marie Lena), and granddaughters Lecia Vasylya and Sabine Lola, sister Nancy Kruse and brother Daniel Stock.
After a private memorial service, graveside, Timothy Francis will be inurned at Columbia Gardens in Arlington, Virginia near his daughter, Michele 'Mikayla'.
In lieu of flowers the family recommends donations to the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law Scholarship Fund in the name of Timothy Francis Stock.
