Our Sincere Condolences to Uncle Prakash and the Entire Family, Uncle Ed, Auntie Grace, Auntie Pat, Auntie Des and Auntie Bea.
With heartfelt sympathy we are deeply saddened for your loss, a light from our family is gone. A voice we loved is still. A place is vacant in the home which never can be filled.
I remembered the conversation just recently shared two days prior to passing about childhood memories going to Cumberland Main Street, and Lilly lived with Auntie Gloria at Palmyra Village for a little while. Our Mother Didi Ethlene used to visit Auntie Gloria quite often before migrated to the US.
When Auntie Gloria got married we were at her wedding. Auntie Gloria said our Mother Didi Ethlene was like a big Sister to her and all her siblings. We talked and shared a lot of memories that day and the day prior like three consecutive days we talked about old memories about Nanny and Great-Nanny.
We shared so many memories, little did we know you were going home to be with the Lord two days later.
We are so saddened by the loss of Auntie Gloria. We would have loved to keep her but God who surely loved her best has finally made her sleep.
After a lifetime of her love and joy God leaves these wondrous memories to help us through our tears. Our God is our healer and our comforter.
Uncle Prakash, Thank you for taking such good care of Auntie Gloria from the beginning July 1974 to April 2021 to the end. We know you truly loved her and cherished her throughout a wonderful life well-lived with lots of beautiful memories.
Sending our love and prayers to all of you and the entire family during this sad time. We share the pain of your loss and Auntie Gloria will always have a special place in our hearts and memories. Isaiah 41:10 (NIV) Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you.

Love always, (Didi Ethlene Children) Sandy, Lilly, Barbara, Angela, Andrew, and Peter

My Dear Cuz Glory,
You were a real gem and God took you Home so early, He needed another Angel in Heaven.
Our teenage years were fun, we would lie in bed and chat all our secrets until the sun comes up! You were my Maid of Honor/ Bridesmaid at my wedding. The next day was your Birthday, we had a double celebration. Every year I remember your Birthday! You also accompanied us on that memorable trip to Essequibo!

Prakash, I hope & pray that you find great comfort in Glory’s precious memories & the good life you shared with her. Two months ago, she told me that you deserved a trophy 🏆 for being the world’s best husband.

Our heartfelt sympathies to the entire Matadial families and to all my Rampersaud cousins and their families. I know it is double hard for my cousins, Ed, Grace, Pat, Des and Bea as you are still grieving for Mike. Let us all stay strong in our Faith and Glory’s smiling face and her precious memories.
RIP Dear Cuz
Nirmala (Nulla) & family.

I first met Gloria as a student at Berbice Educational High School, where I was a student for a short time. In the year 1970 I began to work at the National Insurance Scheme, Gloria was already employed there, it was at National Insurance Scheme we became friends. She was beautiful, friendly and a diligent worker. We remained friends until she left for the USA
In the year 2018 Gloria traveled to Guyana to visit her son and she used the opportunity to visit me after she learnt I am residing in Cumberland East Canje the village where she grew up. It was a pleasant surprise we hugged n shared experiences and the memories of others
we both knew I was happy to see her after approximately 40 years.

To her husband, sons daughters in law grandchildren , sisters other families and friends please accept my sympathy. Rip my friend

To the beloved Family of Gloria Matadial, I shared in sorrow, your loss of your dear beautiful Gloria. I joined US House of Representatives/CAO/HIR/Client Services IT department in 2003. Gloria was my supervisor for the HIR/TSR Team 4 then later Team 2. She became more than a supervisor. She was an excellent teacher and trainer. She was known as Mama G to many of my colleagues. She became a great listener, caring heart, understanding, kind, generous and truly she was the epitome of a great leader. She pushed me beyond greatness and believe in me to become a leader as well. She celebrated with me when I became a Senior TSR and I know she would be so proud to know that I have become a supervisor standing in her footsteps. I will forever cherish our conversations, laughs, office parties, and most of all the hard work and numerous hours we spent on Capitol Hill during the Congressional Transition years. Our Gloria/Mama G will forever live in our hearts and memories. We celebrate you gaining your wings and a beautiful Angel watching over us. RIP Gloria/Mama G. Forever praying, Laura Whitaker (picture attached is Gloria with some of her team. (shown Gloria, Laura Whitaker, Alan Richardson, Tyreis Archie and Tyrone Basilio )
