Passed away peacefully at her home in Arlington, VA surrounded by friends and family, on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Lt. Col Donald P. Andre, USAF (Ret.), devoted and loving mother of Donald P. (Cherie) Andre, Jr. and Curtis W. Andre; adored grandmother of Jason W. Andre; and great-grandmother of Jason W. Andre, II. She is predeceased by her son, John D. Andre.
Mrs. Jones received her BA from Simpson College in 1944. Her 26 year career with the government included positions as a Military Personnel Technician and Air Force Military Personnel (HQ) United States Air Force, The Pentagon, Washington, DC.
A visitation will be held at Murphy Funeral Home of Arlington, 4510 Wilson Blvd, from 1-2pm On Monday, January 30, 2107. Interment services will follow at Arlington National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, at 3:00 pm.
