Walter “Mac” McCormack Elliott was born on September 8, 1933 and passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at Vitality Living Arlington on May 26, 2024. Mac is preceded in death by his son, Steve.
Mac is survived by his wife, Barbara Elliott, and his daughters, Arlene Blackburn (Joe Blackburn) and Donna Latham; his four grandchildren, Jeff Blackburn, Krista Mattson, Tim Latham, and Tyler Latham and his five great grandchildren, Reese, Bennett, Skylar, Teagan and Mackenzie.
Mac’s family would like to thank the memory care staff at Vitality Living for their dedicated care.
Mac was a devoted husband, a dedicated father and grandfather, and will be deeply missed.
A small family service will be held at Murphy’s Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22203,
Monday June 3, 2024 at 1:00pm.
