Washington L. Jones, Jr. affectionately known by many as "Dusty" (66) passed away Tuesday July 7, 2015 at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in Charlotte Hall, MD. He is survived by his daughter Shankara Jones-McNair, his grand-daughters Ashlee A. McNair and Nylah S. McNair, two sisters Olivia J. Hardison and Patricia W. Tucker and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will held at Murphy Funeral Home in Arlington, VA on Sunday July 12, 2015 from 4 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at St. Mark AME Church in Oxon Hill, MD on Monday July 13, 2015 at 10 am. Additional service will be held in Wichita Falls, Texas, where he will be laid to rest with military honors in Crestview Memorial Park.
