Carl was my Friend while attending mesa Community College and ASU.  He was extremely smart and worked to achieve good grades.  Like many Vietnam Vets he was haunted by those events.  I took him flying, and he was the only one I ever let drive my 71' 650cc BSA Twin Lightning!  The Protests were too much for Him @ ASU so He refused an Army Commission through Army ROTC.  Carl was a Distinguished  Cadet.  

We lost touch when I was Commissioned and entered the Air Force.  I tried to stay in touch over the years but lost out.  I want you to know he was proud of his "Girls!" Their Success was his pride.
