Clarice “Clarie” Gephardt Pike, 93, passed away December 18, 2012 in Arlington, WA. She was born December 21, 1918 in New Rome, WI. Clarie graduated from the University of Wisconsin and worked for attorneys at the Wisconsin State Capitol. She married Jonathan Pike, Oct. 31, 1942. He was a U.S. Army officer. They moved to San Francisco where Clarie settled down to raise a family. She was an excellent seamstress, avid gardener and reader. Clarie is survived by her daughter Barbara (Ron) Chase; granddaughters, Carrie (Jeff Pasley) Dennett, Sara (Ben) Harris; grandson Nicholas Williams; great-grandchildren, Samuel, Isabella and Charles Harris. Clarie and Jonathan will be inurned at Tahoma National Cemetery. At her request there will be no services.
