Irene Marie Osborn

Irene Marie (Wallitner) Osborn, 89, went home to be with the Lord on February 5, 2012 in Marysville, WA. She was born to Mathias “Matt” and Cecelia Wallitner July 5, 1922 in Arlington, WA. Irene was a 1940 graduate of Arlington High School. She would meet her future husband, Kenneth, there. On January 26, 1946, they were married and began their life together. In 1956 they moved to Everett, WA with their two children. She enjoyed being with family and friends and was a great bridge and pinochle player. “She gave her heart to her family.” Irene was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth Osborn, in 2006. She leave behind her son Ronald Osborn of Maltby, WA and daughter Theresa Wysong of Birch Bay, WA. A celebration of her life will be Saturday, February11, 2012, 2 p.m. at Weller Funeral Home, 327 N MacLeod Ave., Arlington, WA. A thank you to the Marysville Care Center, where she spent the last years of her life and Providence Hospice, who cared for her in her final weeks.
