

Judith Ann Campbell of Arlington passed away on February 16, 2016. Judy was born on September 29, 1934, in Port Angeles, WA, daughter of Julius and Thora Norman. The family moved to the Arlington area in 1938 and settled on Arlington Heights in 1942. Judy attended Arlington schools, graduating in 1952, completing 4 years in the National Honor Society. She then attended the Everett General Hospital Nursing Program, graduating in 1955 as Valedictorian, earning her RN degree. She worked at Everett General Hospital for the next 41 years, retiring in 1993.
Judy married Vernon E. Campbell on July 1, 1954. They raised 3 sons: Steve, Jerry and Brian Campbell. They spent their time involved with the boys' sports, and going camping and fishing as often as they could. They particularly enjoyed fishing at Neah Bay.
Judy spent her time after retiring traveling extensively. She was a Volunteer for many years at the Snohomish County Visitors Information Center. She was an Executive Board Member at Brookdale, in Stanwood, WA. She was a Member of Normana Lodge #3, in Everett, WA
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Thora Norman, of Arlington, WA; her husband of 34 years, and their son, Steve Campbell.
Judy is survived by her sons, Jerry (Susan), Brian (Tracy) and 5 grandchildren: Nicole (Matt), Brianna, Taylor, Jackson, and Kitt Campbell, all of Stanwood, WA; Brothers Harold (Marilyn) of Brentwood, CA and John (Valerie) of Shoreline, WA, and sister Juanita (Scott) of Marysville, WA
Judy was a loving, caring Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. She will be truly missed.
Celebration of Life Services will be held March 12, 2016, 1:00 PM, at Weller Funeral Home, Arlington, WA. Family internment will be at 11:00 AM,
March 12, 2015 at Arlington Cemetery, Arlington, WA.
The Family would like to thank the Staff of the Memory Care Unit, Brookdale Assisted Living, Stanwood, WA, and the Staff of Evergreen Hospice, for their caring and concern.
